This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
Billo is a bill organizer application designed with privacy in mind. Your bills, incomes, payment records and other financial information You enter into the Application are stored on Your device and, if You enable iCloud, in Your private iCloud database. We do not have access to this data. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Application refers to Billo, the software program provided by the Company, available for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Billo.
Country refers to: Czechia
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Application.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a screen visit).
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
The content You create in the Application — bills, incomes, payment amounts, due dates, notes, account identifiers, provider details and similar information — is stored locally on Your Device using Apple's on-device storage technologies.
If You have iCloud enabled, this data is additionally synchronized through Apple's CloudKit service to Your private iCloud database so that it stays backed up and available across Your Devices. This synchronization happens directly between Your Devices and Apple's servers under Your Apple Account. We do not operate our own servers for Your data, We cannot read it, and We never transmit it to any third party.
Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
The Application does not require You to create an account and We do not ask You to provide personally identifiable information such as Your name, email address or phone number in order to use the Service.
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
We use PostHog, a third-party analytics Service Provider, to understand how the Application is used and to improve it. Usage Data may include information such as the type of Device You use, Your Device model, operating system version, app version, the screens of the Application that You visit, the features You interact with, the time and date of Your use, the duration of Your use, anonymized session recordings of Your interactions with the Application, and other diagnostic data.
We never collect the monetary amounts You enter into the Application. Analytics events are designed to exclude the values of Your bills, incomes and payments. In session recordings, sensitive content — such as amounts, names of Your bills, notes, account identifiers and similar user-entered information — is masked and never leaves Your Device in readable form.
For more information on PostHog's privacy practices, please visit https://posthog.com/privacy.
The Application offers optional paid upgrades through Apple's in-app purchase system. All payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect, receive or store Your payment card details, billing address or other payment information. We only receive anonymized transaction information from Apple (such as the type of subscription purchased) that is necessary to unlock the features You paid for.
The Application can remind You about upcoming payment deadlines using notifications scheduled locally on Your Device. Notification content is generated on Your Device and is not transmitted to Us.
The Company may use Usage Data for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To improve the Service: to understand which features are used, identify usability problems, diagnose crashes and errors, and evaluate and improve the Application.
For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

You are in direct control of the data You create in the Application. You may edit or delete any bill, income or payment record from within the Application at any time. Deleting the Application and its associated iCloud data removes Your content entirely.
You may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any information We may hold about You. Please note, however, that We may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
